At Eagan Immigration, it all begins with a simple call with a member of our team who speaks your language to answer some questions about yourself. Taking the first step can be challenging, but we’ve broken down the process into simple tasks that make an overwhelming task much more manageable. 

Step 1: Call our receptionist team to share basic information about yourself – your name, date of birth, marital status, your spouse’s legal status, if you have children, and if you’ve had any work-related issues. Simple things, no need to prepare – we promise.

We usually charge a flat fee based on the type of case, so you can rest assured knowing your costs upfront. Payment plans are also available.

Step 6: While you’re at home, we’ll be busy preparing your petition to submit it to the United States government. This petition will consist of the forms we have filled out on your behalf, your declaration, your documents, and a carefully crafted legal argument. We have eight attorneys in the firm who work together and share ideas until we are confident that we have the best possible argument for why you should be granted legal status. 

Step 7: We submit your petition and wait. We know the suspense is tough, but we’ll notify you as soon as we hear anything about your petition. Nervous? Call us and talk to us. 

Step 8: Approval! The best days are when we can send you the documents that will make a real difference in your life, whether it’s your work permit (EAD card), your travel permit (so you can safely visit your family in your home country), or your final approval for permanent residency (Green Card) or citizenship in the United States.
